What We Do
Our Strategy
While there are no simple formulas for building the Church of Christ, we minister through the three main avenues observed in Scripture:
- Building personal relationships. (Friendships)
Central to our vision is the idea that the Gospel runs along relationship networks. Grace loves to spend time getting to know the people of Shreveport. These relationships are established through things such as neighborhood cookouts, community events, family outings and men’s and women’s nights out.
- Establishing communities of fellowship. (Community Groups)
Hanging around Grace long means being a part of a community so that we may grow in a love for God, the Scriptures and one another. Through communities of fellowship the Gospel becomes internalized and the body of Christ matures. We believe the church grows best through relationships more than programs. These communities are as diverse as Grace, including groups focused on such things as Christian education, fellowship, recovery groups, ministry teams, youth programs and discipling relationships.
- Gathering for true and vibrant worship. (Worship)
The chief end of man being to glorify and enjoy God, Christians are above all things a worshipping people. Redeemer is committed to true and vibrant worship, stretching backward to incorporate the best of our heritage and stretching forward so that we worship with an eye on our time and in the presence of our culture.
